Due to unexpected events beyond our control, we are still awaiting that unique experience of crossing the Equator. Hang in there...there are still contenders.
Later today, we are meeting up with our buddy boat, MonArk. With our ability to steer compromised (no self steering or auto helm), and possible complications if rudder breaks loose, we'll shadow each other to the Marquesas. They are wonderful to do this.
We can tell we're close....getting hotter and more humid by the day.
