About Rocinante

Rocinante is a 38' Island Packet.  We purchased it in 2004 after an extensive search for a blue water sailboat. Its previous captain sailed the Pacific mostly single-handed logging almost 60,000 miles.  While it was still sturdy with many adaptions for blue water sailing, it was a bit tired looking.  Paul, however, understood it's capabilities and track record.  The cleaning crew myself and my dad (a long time mariner) scrubbed, polished, and helped haul all excess items off Rocinante.
