I spoke with Paul this morning and things have finally calmed down. He says the squalls have passed and that it is really lovely sailing right now. They do not expect any more extreme conditions for the rest of the trip.
He says the rudder problem is under control and is not serious as long as the conditions remain moderate. His solar panels are keeping up with their energy usage so all is good. Their refrigerator may be slowing down, however, so he says Leslie is encouraging them to eat a lot of meat soon. In between steak dinners, they are finally getting some much-needed rest.
