I think my sea legs finally have kicked in. With the lighter wind yesterday, we had a break. Sunny all day yesterday. The nights are cold though. Sure miss the full moon....so dark tonight except for star studded sky. Wind right now 5-7 knots, SOG (Speed Over Ground) is 4.7 knots, definitely off our rhumbline.
Sometimes when looking out across this huge gorgeous blue (a navy blue) ocean, I can't believe this is where we are. It's enjoyable & comfortable but those times can be quickly interrupted with a need to work on the bow or other instances that could lead to an accident....can't get complacent that's for sure.
